Paddles are our most expensive piece of equipment but are we getting the most out of it? Are we protecting our shoulders and elbows from overuse injuries? In this session with Bryan Gromowski, learn how to apply weights to your paddle – if you should, where and how much!
Adding weight to a pickleball paddle increases power, twist weight (stability), and plow-through, while decreasing hand speed and maneuverability. The exact effect on your game depends heavily on where you place the weight using tuning tape.
When is the last time you replaced your grip or overgrip? Replacing a grip can restore anti-slip control, manage sweat, protect the base of the grip and improve comfort through softening hard shock vibrations. Using a Hesacore grip reduces grip tension, improves shock absorption , and reduces twisting when the ball catches the edge or lower portion of the paddle face.
See the options and work with Bryan on customizing your paddle to maximize performance and improve health and safety while playing.
