The Baird CAPA Cup Pickleball Tournament was held August 15-17, 2025. As you may know, however, most of the brackets that were scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 16th ended up being cancelled due to rain. The Capital Area Pickleball Association (CAPA) has decided that it would like to schedule a make-up event for all of those cancelled brackets.
The make-up event will be at Dill Dinkers on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10 am to 10 pm with the following bracket times:
10:15am – 2:00pm Men’s 3.5 18+ Women’s 3.5 18+
2:15pm – 6:00pm Men’s 4.0 18+ Women’s 4.0 18+
6:15pm – 10:00pm Men’s 4.5 18+ Women’s 4.5 18+ Men’s 4.5 45+
There will be NO additional charges to play in these events. However, CAPA wants to have full brackets and needs to know if all impacted teams can play in the make-up event. If you were a member of an affected team, you should have received an email asking you to click this link and respond by August 31, 2025, with an update on your team’s registration. Impacted teams should respond and let the organizers know whether your team can play or not, or whether only one member of your team can play but will bring a different partner.
